Every sub-brand of Xiaomi is known for a certain category of products. Say, Mijia is popular for its home appliances, Roidmi is known for car products, Huami is known for wearables, etc. In this sense, Yeelight is a sub-brand that offers smart lighting solutions. A couple of months ago, this manufacturer came in with an interesting product, which was promoted as the world’s first intelligent eye protection desk lamp. If you follow what products are put on the Xiaomi Crowdfunding, you should be familiar with the Yeelight Pro Smart LED Table Lamp. As the name suggests, it is a smart eye-protecting table lamp with natural light. It is already available for purchase at a price tag of $89.99 after applying the coupon (code: IT$LED03YL).
Xiaomi also likes to team up with various European and American companies in order to come with outstanding products. However, this time it didn’t collaborate with Philips as it likes to do. Yeelight has worked jointly with Seoul Semiconductor. As a result, the Yeelight Pro Smart LED Table Lamp adopts the SunLike technology, combined with advanced violet LED chip technology and TRI-R phosphor technology. Apart from them, this lamp comes with violet light beads (LED wafer) instead of traditional blue light (LED crystal Element). This reduces the occurrence of excessive blue light that is harmful to the human eye.
The lamp is packed with 88 SunLike lamp beads. It also uses side-emitting structure, uniform, and bright illumination, while avoiding the problem of excessive brightness and glare. At the same time, the high-precision RC filter is used to convert the AC drive signal which is easy to generate stroboscopic into a gentle DC signal. Thanks to the realizing the supply of stable current to the lamp bead, it greatly reduces the stroboscopic light and avoids eye fatigue caused by it.
In terms of appearance, the Yeelight Pro Smart LED Table Lamp has a circular weight base, a foldable arm, and a mirror-like LED light. The latter is adjustable according to users’ requirements and is certified by Germany’s authoritative inspection agency TUV Rheinland. Its articulated arm is adjustable in height and its LED light type mirror offers up to 650 lumens with a consumption of 15W. However, the color temperature remains fixed at 4000K.
We are dealing with a Xiaomi smart product that simply means it can be controlled via Mi Home app. Say you can choose various modes such as classroom simulation and tomato work method.
