Xiaomi Mi Band, a very well known fitness tracker, which created records in sales world wide as the most affordable fitness tracker, and now Xiaomi is coming out with a second iteration of it, and it’s pure gold.
The Company previously teased a new fitness tracker on the Chinese Microblogging site Webio, stating that they will be announcing and releasing new “Heart Products” tomorrow, which could only mean that Xiaomi is ready yo unveil the Mi Band 1S tomorrow. Which could be followed by an announcement of new software to go along with the new Mi Band 1S and it’s Heart Rate Monitor, which is one of the new key features of the new Mi Band 1S.
The new Heart rate monitor will be able to read and measure a user’s heart rate either automatically or when triggered manually, which means that the workout tracking will be more in-depth and useful. The New Sensor will be able to track a user’s heart rate while awake or at asleep. The new Mi Band 1S will have all the features that the original Mi Band has, like Notification alerts, smart unlock, fitness tracking, sleep tracking and more.
As previously rumored the Mi Band 1S will be priced at 99 Yuan ($15 USD) or something similar to make the 1S more attractive to the same budget market, and also making it the cheapest Heart-Rate enabled fitness tracker in the market. With the original Xiaomi Mi Band being priced at 69 Yuan ($10 USD), it’s going to be very interesting to see what Xiaomi decides to price the Mi Band 1S.
