Earlier this year Xiaomi announced a 70 meters smart rearview mirror priced at only 999 yuan (5). As it’s a Xiaomi product, we can assume there is a number of innovative technologies. There is! The Xiaomi Smart RearView Mirror comes with an 8.8-inch large screen at a resolution of 1920 × 480 pixels, 16.7 million colors support, 7 layers of optical coating silver mirror, balanced reflectivity and transmittance. But this smart rearview mirror is not only about the screen – there are too many interesting features we should get acquainted with.

It comes with a new flagship intelligent voice interaction supporting global wake-up. The voice interaction covers most of the commonly used functions (90%). The broadcast process can be interrupted at any time. Thus, it won’t prevent drivers when driving.

Other than that, the Xiaomi Smart RearView Mirror comes with an integrated high-German map made for cars. It supports a variety of destination query. This map can switch to display mode and change the route strategy easily.

One of the most important features of this mirror is the integrated ADAS system supporting FCW (Forward Collision Warning), PVS (Preceding Vehicle Starting), and LDW (Lane Departure Warning). It will save the video before and after the collision. We can even watch the videos in the rearview mirror as well via a mobile APP in real time.

The Xiaomi Smart RearView Mirro collects inside and outside data via the sensors, and intimates warning at risk. Plus, it sports a high-quality lens for shooting clear pictures. The smart mirror is equipped with an OV 1 / 2.9 high-performance image sensor at a large unit pixel size of 2.8 ?m. It allows the drivers to record high-definition 1080P / 30FPS videos regardless the lightning conditions.

There are a three-axis gyroscope and three-axis magnetic field sensor at high sensitivity combined with a custom-made vehicle dynamic model algorithm.

Thanks to a stable four-in-one mixed cooling system it has a fast thermal protection. The internal hot air goes through the copper. The thermal silica gel helps the process to be implemented faster. Other than that, it uses graphene to increase the cooling area.

The Xiaomi Smart RearView Mirror comes with more than 10 million high-quality music, audio books, talk shows and more. Totally there are over 20 categories you can choose from.

At last, this car mirror runs on a custom made software based on Android. There are 96 basic parameters with 70 APPS, remote set navigation, WeChat access and many more.
