Xiaomi is all set to launch its much-awaited Redmi Note 5 on February 14 but still, there are rumors that it is going to be the Redmi 5 Plus and not the Note 5. Anyways, the source code of the official teaser page had previously revealed the ‘Redmi Note 5’ name and today, Flipkart has confirmed that it is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 which is set to arrive on February 14. A new video was uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Flipkart whose title said ‘Redmi Note 5’ which might have just confirmed the phone’s launch.
After a couple of hours of the upload, the title has now been changed but the snapshots are now here that confirm that Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is launching on February 14 in India. Many sources have claimed that this will be a rebranded Redmi 5 Plus but we hope that this doesn’t happen since we are waiting for a much better device than the Redmi 5 Plus.
As per the rumored specifications of the phone, there are dual rear cameras, an 18:9 display, a big battery and probably a Snapdragon 636 processor. There are chances that Xiaomi is going to surprise us by launching a phone with Snapdragon 660, but there are no details of this yet.
