The popular Redmi Note 5 will finally be available in Malaysia, and soon the inhabitants will have the opportunity to acquire this mid-range phone that has very good acceptance by its users. This smartphone has the mid-range processor Snapdragon 636, the usual configuration of 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage we see increased compared to the Chinese version, where the base configuration is 3 GB of RAM and 32 storage or 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of Storage. Another aspect that could stand out will be its large 4000 mAh battery that will give it an excellent autonomy.
It also comes equipped with two rear cameras: one of 12 MP with a focal 1.9 and the other camera of 5 MP, next to the front camera comes with 13 MP and a focal 2.2. It comes with the version of Android Oreo 8.0 along with the usual customization layer MIUI 9.5.
The Redmi Note 5 is the true successor to the popular Redmi Note 4 and it was launched as the Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. But in other parts of the world, it will be known as the Redmi Note 5. The Malaysian pricing is expected to be slightly higher than in Indonesian. The Redmi Note 5 could be priced around RM800-850 for the 3GB RAM model and RM950-RM999 for the 4GB RAM option.
