The Redmi Note 2 dimensions are 152 x 76 x 8.3mm, which makes it 3mm narrower, 2mm shorter, and a millimeter thinner when we compare it to its predecessor. Also, The Redmi Note 2 is 25g lighter at 160g, which is a nice surprise. The entire back cover is removable, and it is crafted of matte plastic. The cover comes in multiple colors, aimed to please younger generations.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is the first smartphone to run on MIUI 6, a custom interface based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. Rather than refreshing the whole UI again, this time, Xiaomi has focused on refining their launcher and improving its performance.
