Xiaomi India is in luck. The popular Asian technology brand announced this October 9, through the president of the brand in the country, Manu Kumar Jain, that the sales of the famous Xiaomi Redmi 5A have reached 10 million units. This number positions the Smartphone in the Hall of Fame of India since they make it the best-selling phone in the history of the nation, and in a record time of only 9 months.
The Xiaomi Redmi 5A breaks the barriers
Let’s recall the features of the Xiaomi Redmi 5A, terminal that already came out in December last year. It has a plastic body with a symmetrical design that resembles the higher end terminals of a few years ago. It has a large screen of 5.0 inches with HD resolution (720p), very good quality for the price range that it is, although it does not have an aspect ratio that covers the entire front. The processor chosen to power the Smartphone was the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425, placing it at a good point for the low range without missing power to move the latest applications.
The fans of the photographs got a good taste in the mouth with the Xiaomi Redmi 5A, since in the back, the terminal comes with a 13MP camera, and in the front, it has a 5MP sensor, which gets photos of very good quality.
Last but not least, a battery with a capacity of 3000mAh has been included, which together with the customized MIUI layer and its energy saving options, give the phone a life of up to 8 days in Stand-By.
The phone came to India in its basic version of 2GB of RAM + 16GB of ROM at a price of 5,999 Indian rupees (approximately $80), while the version with 3GB of RAM + 32GB of ROM is on sale for 6,999 Indian rupees ($95 to change)
This is not the only Xiaomi Redmi 5A achievement; let’s remember that the phone had already become the fifth most sold Smartphone worldwide during the first quarter of 2018 by distributing 5.4 million units, which gave it 1.6% of the market share.
