The Xiaomi Notebook Pro GTX Version is packed with a 15.6-inch FHD display. At the same time, it is equipped with the 8th generation Intel Core processor. There are two variants. One of them is equipped with the i7-8550U processor, a 256GB PCIe SSD, a 16GB 2400MHz DDR4 dual-channel memory, and an NVidia GTX 1050 Max-Q graphics card, while the second model sports an Intel i5 chip paired with an 8GB of RAM. Rest of the features remain the same.
According to the official introduction, the Xiaomi Notebook Pro GTX Version comes with a creatively designed CPU performance enhancement mode. When the discrete graphics card is not started, by adjusting the CPU’s Turbo frequency characteristics, it will bring more than 20% performance improvement for heavy office users.
All laptops suffer from heating. So the company decided to provide an advanced technology to solve this problem. In terms of heat dissipation, the Xiaomi Notebook Pro GTX Version is upgraded to a double-fan with a metal fan blade that can increase the air volume by 38.5%. The graphics card area adopts a double heat pipe layout to effectively improve the surface temperature.
There is also a UHS-II professional-grade card reader, the transmission speed of which can reach 312MB/s, and the time for importing device data such as SLR cameras into the computer is greatly shortened.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi Notebook Pro GTX Version’s i5+8GB variant is priced at 6299 yuan (916), while the i7+16GB memory version is priced at 7599 yuan ($1105). They will go on sale on August 16.
