As we all know, Xiaomi has chosen the November 5 date to launch some of its high-end technologies. On Tuesday, the company organized an event in Beijing to launch the Xiaomi Mi Watch wrist wearable alongside the world’s first 108MP camera phone and Mi TV 5 Series.
Today, we have the Xiaomi Mi Watch to review, which is tagged as the Xiaomi’s first smartwatch. Earlier, the brand had witnessed a huge success on the Xiaomi Mi Band 4. It was the fitness tracking bracelet to conclude various health and fitness sensors inside.
Externally, it has adopted the Apple Watch design but features bit different qualities internally. Currently, it is launched in the local market but as per the officials, it will hit the global locations soon.

On both hands of the aluminum alloy frame matte body, the watch integrates two replaceable rubber straps with some holes. You can adjust the watch on each wrist size comfortably.

Xiaomi has tried to eliminate the chinks on the part of the storage space. Most of the wrist wearables come with least or no storage space. But luckily, the Mi Watch delivers 1 GB in the RAM slot, whereas, 8 GB memory in the internal storage area.
It looks quite impressive to have such a good amount of space to save data locally. The watch doesn’t sport external memory card for space expansion.
Additionally, the smart wristwatch hosts a 570 mAh non-removable battery. As per the company’s claims, it will last for up to 36 hours on a single charge. Interestingly, it supports Wireless Charging as well.
The Xiaomi Mi Watch approaches multiple connectivity options in terms of wireless standards. In particular, it installs Bluetooth 4.2, WIFI 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, and GALILEO technologies.
Moreover, it also features the NFC function but to use only in China.
In addition to the specs described above, the wrist wearable Mi Watch provides some health and fitness sensors like heart rate sensor, barometer, accelerometer, gyro etc.
Price and Availability
Well, the Xiaomi Mi Watch will retail at the CNY 1,299 (approx. INR 13,000) price figure. Similarly, the premium version costs at CNY 1,999 (approx. 20,000).
Chinese Users will be eligible to click the smart wristwatch right from the November 11 onwards. We still have no official information regarding its availability outside China. But we can expect its global launch soon as per the company traditions.
The premium edition of the watch can go on sale from any date of the next month. Until we have to wait for sure.
