China’s MIIT just certified Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 5G Smartphone

It has become one of the most anticipated questions in the smartphone industry as when will Xiaomi reveal the next edition of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 is among the first devices to hit the 5G network carriers in the European countries. Recently, news has come that the company is looking to unveil its successor i.e. Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 in the second half (fourth quarter) of this year.

In fact, the latter device has already been certified by the MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology) of China. Further, the smartphone has been spotted on the MIIT website with model number M1908F1XE.

According to the Xiaomi Product Director Wang Teng, the Mi Mix 4 will come with wireless fast charging technique. It is a 5G smartphone and can be worth to look forward.

He responded to a query posted on the mydrivers.com. The listing on the MIIT website doesn’t confirm the fact that it is the Mi Mix 4 5G in any way.

Moreover, 5G smartphones are limited to high-end performance at this juncture because of the cost factor. Xiaomi introduced Mi 9 this year and now looking forward to going for their next 5G connectivity device in the 4th quarter of 2019.

Previously, the phone was speculated to be announced in August this year. But later Xiaomi president Lin Bin refuted these rumours and cleared that the phone will be launched this year but the month and date are not confirmed yet.

So, until the official announcement, you should treat the rumours as a pinch of salt.

For now, the phone is expected to come in with the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 800 series processor. Some are anticipating it to be Snapdragon 855, while others are Snapdragon 855+.
