This is Xiaomi Mi AirDots, small wireless headphones that have a case that also serves as a charger. A good alternative to the Apple Airports.
The Xiaomi Mi AirDots comes with a very minimalist design. They have a body completely made of plastic and finished in bright white. Each Xiaomi Mi AirDots weighs 4.2 grams and has a touch area that allows basic control. When added together, the True Wireless Stereo (TWS) stereo system is activated, which allows stereo sound when both headphones are being used at the same time.
The Mi AirDots come with 7.2mm audio drivers which Xiaomi claims can produce deep bass and high-quality stereo audio. The earphones don’t come with any physical button to control the music, instead, as also mentioned above, there’s a touch zone which will let users control the playback. Users will just need to place their fingers on the earbuds to control the voice assistant, music or even calls.
The Mi AirDots Youth Edition offers the latest Bluetooth connectivity support — Bluetooth v5.0 — which Xiaomi says consumes less power and offers a longer operating range. In addition to Bluetooth v5.0, the earphones are also compatible with devices with Bluetooth v4.2 or older connectivity options.
The Xiaomi Mi AirDots Youth Edition comes with a charging case which charges the earphones when placed on it. The charging case works similar to how AirPods charge using their native case. Xiaomi claims AirDots can deliver up to four hours of playback time on its stereo and five hours when on mono mode on a single charge.
Xiaomi says that their AirDots are compatible with their personal assistant, so we can activate it from any of the headphones to expand their capabilities with functions via voice. The earphones are claimed to deliver four hours of playback time on its stereo mode, while five hours of usage can be gained in the mono mode on a single charge.
