Its design is based on a glass body that achieves an impressive mirror effect, giving it a much more premium look. To make a comparison, during the launch event, Xiaomi compared the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite with the iPhone XR, suggesting that the Xiaomi device is thinner, has a minimum of bevels and has a smaller notch.
With respect to its connectivity options, the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a standard that offers 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS. It works using Android Oreo operating system from the factory and has a large 3350mAh battery that supports Quick charging technology. Note that this is the first time that Xiaomi offers color gradient options for their phones, and it comes with three varieties: Dream Blue, Twilight Gold, and Black.
The prices for the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite vary depending on the model, for example, their 4GB of RAM model costs a total of 1399 yuan ($204), the 6GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM model is priced at 1699 yuan ($248) and the 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM model costs a total of 1999 yuan ($292). The pre-orders start from today and shipments will start on September 25 in China.
