Alleged Xiaomi Mi 6X aka Xiaomi Mi A2 specifications leaked

Coming soon...

Last year, Xiaomi launched the Mi 5X in India as the Mi A1 and the phone sold like hot cakes, thanks to the impressive cameras, pure stock Android, and solid build quality. Looking at the success of the Mi A1, it is pretty much confirmed that Xiaomi is preparing a successor, i.e., the Xiaomi Mi 6X or the Xiaomi Mi A2 this year. There have been a lot of leaks of the smartphone in the past, and today, some major specifications of the Xiaomi Mi 6X have leaked out that might be legit.

We got the image first that reveals some main highlights of the Mi 6X or the Xiaomi Mi A2. It has a 5.99-inch display with Full-HD+ (2160x1080p) resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. We have already seen the 18:9 display on Redmi 5, Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro that launched this year in India. An 18:9 panel means there are on-screen buttons and the fingerprint scanner is present on the rear. Talking about the rear, there are dual cameras. The primary rear camera is a 20MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture while there is the secondary 8MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture.

On the front, the Xiaomi Mi 6X has a 20MP camera, just like the Redmi Note 5 Pro. Under the hood, Snapdragon 626 processor powers the phone along with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. There is a 2,910mAh battery too. Android 8.1 Oreo runs out of the box, and just like the Mi A1, the Xiaomi Mi A2 is launching with Android One in India. We don’t have any information on when the phone is launching or where it will be available. But, it can launch exclusively on Amazon or maybe on Flipkart (Flipkart App). The specifications are from an unreliable source so consider them with a pinch of salt.
