The Xiaomi Mi1 aka Xiaomi Phone was launched on August 16, 2011. It was a high-end smartphone packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 dual core, processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and paired with an Adreno 220 GPU. It was initially priced at 1999 yuan, and it got over 300.000 pre-orders in the first 34 hours.
The Xiaomi Mi2 aka Xiaomi Phone 2 was released on August 16, 2012. It was equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, and it was priced identically to its predecessor.
The third gen Mi handset was launched on September 5, 2013. It sported a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor running at 2.3 GHz/ Nvidia Tegra 4 one+quad core processor clocked at 1.8GHz.
It was followed by the Xiaomi Mi4 launched on July 22, 2014. It was packed with a list of many useful features like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974-AC) chipset.
In the next year Xiaomi decided to launch another series of smartphones called Note. The first one from this line was called the Xiaomi Note and it was launched on January 15, 2015. It was followed by the Xiaomi Mi4C launched on May 22, the Xiaomi Mi5 released on February 24, 2016, the Xiaomi Mi Max on May 10, 2016 and the next one will be the Xiaomi Mi 5S expected to be uncovered on September 27 of this year.
During past years Xiaomi has lost its power as many manufacturers have been appeared, but this company is very serious and it is going to make a tough competition to top brands even in this situation. Just look what features will come with the Mi 5S, and you’ll get what I mean.
