The Xiaomi Mi 5S has been spotted for several times. And we have got acquainted with some of its astonishing features including the under glass fingerprint scanner, 5.15-inch double curved display (aka hyperbolic screen), Snapdragon 821 processor, dual camera module made by Samsung, 6GB of RAM, 3490mAh battery supporting fast charging options, USB Type-C interface and NFC. As you see, this is going to be an incredible smartphone with stunning specs list. Thus it will be capable of fighting against top brands and products including the newly announced iPhone 7. I am not afraid of saying the latest opinion, because Xiaomi is thought to be the Chinese Apple, and it turns out the latter launches better smartphones than the Cupertino based manufacturer. Moreover, it’s rumored to cost at $447, which is much cheaper than the top branded smartphones packed with weaker features.
A few days ago we have seen the spotted photos of the Xiaomi Mi 5S, but as of now we have another leaked photo of its sibling, the Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus. If you remember, this beast has been said to sport a 5.7-inch 2K display, Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.15GHz, 4GB/6GB of RAM, a 12MP rear camera with Sony’s IMX378 sensor + OIS, and the same Qualcomm Sense ID ultrasonic fingerprint scanner found on the Mi 5S. Looking at the photo above we see no fingerprint scanner on the back, but we also don’t see dual-camera that means the manufacturer decided to locate the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the glass, but it has removed the second camera module as well.
As the Xiaomi Mi 5S has been always spotted alongside with other devices called either Mi Note 2/Mi Pro or Mi 5S Plus, we tend to think they will be announced at the same time. So cross fingers to see both handsets on September 27.
