Mobile chipset maker Qualcomm organized an event, the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit on December 3 night. It was targeted to launch the Snapdragon 865, but the technical details of the chipset are yet to expose. However, the partial launch persuades many smartphone manufacturers to empower their devices with this platform. Among others, Xiaomi also has given its nod to this mobile platform.
Xiaomi’s co-founder and vice-chairman Bin Lin was also present at the Qualcomm Summit. During the event show, he announced that Xiaomi Mi 10 would be one of the first handsets to host the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform.
But you must remember that it won’t be the first device to install this processor chipset. Samsung has already badged the title in the previous year. Now, the Mi flagship should be the first Chinese device to boast the new processor. On the other side, we are already known to the Mi 10 Pro model by Xiaomi, and it should have the Snapdragon 865 on the chipset too.
In terms of Xiaomi Mi 10 features, it is expected most likely to come with a punch-hole display, although the design stature is still under wraps. Moreover, the company may launch the device next year with 66W Fast Charging technology.
Xiaomi promises to bring high-grade smartphone each time as we have seen in November. The Mi Note 10 served as the world’s first 108MP sensor camera with some other fascinating features.
On the other side, Oppo has also revealed that it will present its own flagship device in the first quarter of 2020 empowered by the Snapdragon 865. Therefore, we can see a serious competition among these two well-enriched (hope so) devices.
In the event, Mr. Bin also reiterated that Xiaomi would bring more than 10 5G smartphones in 2020.
