At the end of last month, the so-called Xiaomi Iron Ring Headphone 2 was released at a price tag of 99 yuan. So we can state there are three ring-shaped iron headphones made by Xiaomi. They include the Iron Ring Headphones (99 Yuan – $16), the Iron Ring Earphone Pro (149 Yuan – $24), and the Iron Ring Earphone 2 (99 Yuan – $16). However, these earphones are named the Xiaomi Mi Hybrid Dual Drivers Earphones. And the newly announced model is already on sale. So we decided to take a closer look.
Do not confuse it with the Xiaomi Half-In-Ear Earphones
In terms of design, the Xiaomi Iron Ring Headphone 2 follows the metal sound pattern of the Xiaomi iron headphones lineup. However, there is an additional high-polishing process in the finishing. It comes with a smooth metal texture and an L- shaped plug to reduce wire bending. These headphones use a graphene composite diaphragm with light weight and high sound speed combined with a soft PET layer to restore a more realistic and penetrating sound quality.

The acoustic structure of the Xiaomi Iron Ring Headphone 2 still uses the dynamic sounder + dual sound unit design to provide a smooth sound quality, as well as a high, medium and low-frequency balance. The manufacturer used two types of materials on the wire: the main line uses a braided wire that is resistant to pulling and twisting, while the rail line that is close to the wire uses a highly elastic skin-friendly TPE wire. Thus we can state the Xiaomi Iron Ring Headphone 2 comes with a user-friendly design and provides an excellent audio experience.
