Xiaomi Confirmed September 27 To Be Launch Date of Mi 5S and 5S Plus

The launch date of the much rumored Xiaomi Mi 5S has been delayed for several times, but yesterday we informed you it is going to take place on September 27. Fortunately, our sources were reliable, as today the manufacturer officially announced the upcoming conference held on the same date.

The ad poster showcases a big S that is collected of different parts. So we tend to think the Chinese Apple wants to say the forthcoming model(s) will be packed with several innovative technologies and latest hardware we have heard about earlier. Moreover, the poster talks about more than one handsets, and as there is only one letter ‘S’, we tend to think there will be uncovered the advanced version of the Xiaomi Mi 5S dubbed as the Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus. So the Mi Note 2 should be delayed one more time.

The conference will be held on September 27 at 10 AM. The tickets are priced at 199, but I guess they all have been sold out, because the company has announced there will be only 800 tickets available for purchasing.

Anyway, the Xiaomi Mi 5S will sport a decent list of features including a 5.15-inch 1080P screen with ultrasonic fingerprint recognition scanner placed under it, Snapdragon 821 SoC, 4GB/6GB of RAM, 12MP rear camera with UltrPixel technology like the one seen on the HTC 10 with the same Sony IMX378 lens and so on.

The Xiaomi Mi 5S Plus is packed with more attractive feature like a 5.7-inch 2K screen, a Snapdragon 821 processor, 4GB/6GB of RAM, Sony IMX378 lens camera with UltraPixel technology and OIS and so on.

I guess you know all these rumored features better than me, so all we have to do to wait for the official announcement of these two beasts that should become bestseller not only in Chinese market but in western smartphone market as well.
