Chinese OEMs have started to become a very popular entity in the market. Another company by the name of Shenzhou is gearing up to launch what appears to be its flagship smartphone. According to a Chinese source, the chipset running inside the unnamed model is going to be MediaTek Helio X10. Despite what critics might say about the chipset, Helio X10 features a very powerful octa-core processor that comprises up of 8 Cortex-A53 cores.
However, the clock speed of each core varies in different smartphones. For example, one model of Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is running the processor at a speed of 2.0GHz, while the other one is running at 2.2GHz. Shenzhou has not stated the following fact, but it is possible that the company’s upcoming smartphone will have its octa-core processor running at a speed of 2.2GHz, which is equal to Meizu MX5. Additionally, the handset has also been leaked to be running 3GB of RAM, along with 64GB of internal storage.
Since the leak has not mentioned that the smartphone is to support microSD cards, it is also possible that Shenzhou has decided not to place this crucial feature. As for the camera sensor, the device is going to sport a 21/8MP camera sensor combo, but we are going to have to wait and see which sensor is present on it.
Possibly the biggest highlight of owning the upcoming handset from Shenzhou will be its large 3,850mAh battery, which will definitely provide tons of battery life. Since this smartphone sports better specifications as compared to Meizu MX5, we have a feeling that it is going to be far more expensive than the latter. We will wait for more updates to come through. So far, the handset looks quite impressive, and will be an even better purchase if the company prices it competitively.
