UMiDIGI A5 Pro is a mid-range smartphone packed with impressive features with an unbeatable price tag. The device comes in a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ display with 1080 x 2280 pixels resolution. The UMi A5 Pro has a U-shaped notch cut-out above the screen, which houses the selfie camera.
Design & Appearance
As for the display, the new smartphone has a diagonal of 6.3 inches and a resolution of Full HD+, 2280 x 1080 pixels. The manufacturer says the screen-to-casing ratio is 92.7%, but I don’t believe it. Most likely, the ratio is about 85%, which is also good for a budget device. It’s hard not to admire the combination of a completely frameless display with a minimal teardrop-shaped cut-out for the front photo module, rounded corners, and edges of a beautiful ergonomic case, a stylish triple camera and a nice looking fingerprint scanner. The spellbound views of the people around will be a clear confirmation of this.
Under the hood, the UMiDIGI A5 Pro is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek MT6763 Helio P23 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz, along with Mali-G71 GPU. There’s a 4GB of RAM and 32GB expandable internal storage.
The interesting part is, all the impressive specifications above comes at just $99 USD. At that price tag, you still getting a rear placed fingerprint scanner, a large 4150mAh battery, support for dual 4G VoLTE enable SIMs and the latest Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
On the camera department, the device comes with the triple rear camera setup, comprising a 16-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor along with a dual-LED flash. At the front, there’s a single 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video chats.
