The makings of a perfect phone for every man, Ulefone Armor 2 includes Global 4G/LTE, NFC with Android Pay, IP68 rating, Gorilla Glass 4, 6GB RAM and 4700mAh Battery!
Before we actually start with Ulefone Armor 2 Hands-on and Water test let’s first of all take a look at the full specs of the device.
Ulefone Armor 2 Specs and Antutu Benchmark Score
Starting with the Ulefone Armor 2 specs for all of you wanting to know what’s ticking inside this monster rugged phone.
With screen density at 444dpi thanks to the 5-inch FHD Display, Ulefone Armor 2 provides plenty of detail for everyday usage. With superb brightness for great direct sunlight visibility.
Inside we have the Octa-Core Helio P25 with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage offering great value for performance enthusiasts.
Compared to Helio P10 the new P25 offers better peformance, better graphics and reduced power consumption.
Measuring against CAT S60(SD617) and Nomu S30(Helio P10), Ulefone Armor 2 clearly outperforms the compeittion. You no longer have to compromise durability and endurance for speed and gaming thanks to the Helio P25 and 6GB RAM.
Most noteworthy, you get all the sensors you need and Global 4G/LTE, especially all US and Europe Bands. I am glad Chinese rugged phones finally started to feature Compass, Gyroscope and Pressure sensors.
In addition, Ulefone Armor 2 packs a 16MP Samsung main camera, 8MP Selfie one and a big 4700mAh Battery.
Furthermore, Armor 2 has two Nano-Sim slots behind the metal plate on the back and an additional SD card slot. Because of that you no longer have to choose, but can have both sims and sd card at the same time. Lying just below the slots is the NFC transmitter. Make sure you screw those bolts tight to avoid water-damage.
Offering NFC with Android pay is a first for any Ulefone device and what users actually need. Considering the price tag, Ulefone Armor 2, looks like it has everything.
Ulefone Armor 2 Hands-On with Camera Samples – Tough as Nails, But Not Heavy or Bulky!
Usually rugged phones are very heavy, thick and bulky, but Ulefone Armor 2 is not only tough, but well designed. Much thinner and lighter than any rugged phone I’ve tested.
The entire outer shell is rubberised plastic and is 100% shockproof. This baby can take many falls on the side and it will never, ever break!
The back reminds me of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shell phones, very cool in my books. On the bottom resides the rubber-covered USB-C port. There is no headphone jack, however inside the box you get a USB-C to 3.5mm Jack adapter if you want to use your regular headphones.
You can turn your Armor 2 into a walkie-talkie using the PTT button and the build-in Zello app. A dedicated camera button sits on the bottom of the device, a really thoughtful addition.
Speaking about the camera, here are Ulefone Armor 2 Camera samples using the 16MP Samsung sensor.
Ulefone Armor 2 passed the water test with flying colours and is 100% water-resistant with the IP68 rating.

That is all for now, look fordward to my full review next week, but so far Ulefone Armor 2 looks like a beast in every way. I am very impressed with the design and specs to be honest, considering how low the price is.
