There are different types of tablets, but the key feature used to categorize them is the screen size. As you know small sized tablets have become very popular once Apple launched its iPad Mini and Samsung came in with its mini-sized tablets as well. But there also tablets with larger screens, say we can remember Microsoft’s disputable devices in face of Surface and Surface Pro. So you should agree the tablet market is full of different devices ready to grab even the smallest piece of the pie. In this case the Teclast Tbook 16 Pro seems to have all the chances to leave the party quite satiated.

Teclast Tbook 16 Pro Design

If you have been looking for a business-style tablet, you are on the right way, because the Teclast’s products almost always come with astonishing design that proves we are dealing with a brand that takes care of its customers. When holding the Tbook 16 Pro in hands your self-concept will raise, because everything in this handset seems to be designed very carefully to meet the requirements of any capricious client.

The Teclast Tbook 16 Pro is very slim and has a thickness of 4.8 mm, which is the way thinner than the Surface Pro 4. It comes with a silver metal cover, which gives an additional charm to it and looks quite eye-catching when holding in hands and walking down the street. I want to say it can be a very stylish attribute for fashionistas. Thanks to CNC technology the handset has got a tiny interface and smooth edges. There are also bezels on each side to keep you from scratching the screen when using it. Anyway, let’s see what design elements are there on this tablet, to assess the work of designers.

The Teclast Tbook 16 Pro comes with an 11.6-inch IPS Capacitive touch screen that provides a resolution of 1920 x 1080. This we are dealing with a Full HD, no matter what kind of content you browse via it, because everything will look perfect on this display. Moreover, it provides 178 degree viewing angle meaning no matter where from you look at the display, all the colors will be displayed brightly. The menu button is located below the screen, while a 2MP camera for video chats is placed above the display.

The left side of the tablet carries a Micro USB slot, a Micro HDMI slot, a TF Card slot, a 3.5mm Earphone jack and a microphone hole. The right side of the device is blank, and the only thing we can find is one of two stereo speakers (the next one is located on the left side). The docking interface is on the bottom side, while the top side has the power on/off button and volume rocker.

Teclast Tbook 16 Pro Features

As for hardware, the Tbook 16 Pro is one of the best tablets made by this manufacturer. Earlier we have reviewed the Teclast Tbook 11, and though it has many similarities with this handset, our hero is the way better. For example, the Tbook 16 Pro is equipped with an Intel X5 Z8300 64bit Quad Core Processor working at 1.44GHz frequency, though it can be boosted up to 1.84 GHz. It is perfectly paired with the 12EU of Gen8 HD graphics and 4GB of RAM, thus the tablet will provide a feeling of smooth and vivid gaming that you will love for sure. There is also 64GB of ROM, which should be enough if you used to save your files in the clouds. If not, there is TF support to expand the memory up to 128GB.

The Teclast Tbook 16 Pro sports all necessary connectivity options including IEEE 802.11b/g/n Wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0 and so on.

The tablet is also packed with a huge 3.7V 7200 mAh battery that will be enough for two day usage if you don’t play games all day long.

Teclast Tbook 16 Pro Software

As you guess and as we used to see Teclast products, the Tbook 16 Pro supports the dual-boot features, which means when turning on you can choose which OS to boot. The tablet can use either Windows 10 Home or Android 5.1 Lollipop. Both of them work smoothly on the device thanks to an incredible specs we’ve acquainted with. What’s interesting when you want to use the Tbook 16 Pro as an ultrabook you can boot Windows 10 and plugging different peripherals on do what you keep in your mind. But when you want to use it as a simple Android tablet for browsing the web, watching videos or listening music, another option will be great. In this case, this tablet has a real advantage in comparison with the Surface Pro 4, because it boots only one OS, and there is no opportunity to access millions of Play market apps and games.

(Initially I decided to write common cons and pros for this tablet, but when it came to action, I understand there is no complaint referring to this device. So let’s take it as a flawless ultrabook.)

The Rest

The Teclast Tbook 16 Pro is compatible with a keyboard and stylus, though they are not included in the box.
