The Chinese manufacturer Teclast has launched a new Ultrabook with Windows 10 in the race. Manufacturers from China are known for the good price/performance ratio of their devices. The new Teclast F7 Plus should not be an exception here.
There is also a very promising overall package. The notebook has a 14-inch display with IPS technology and an edge only 6 millimeters. Outside, there is an aluminum case with elegantly rounded corners. The device also has a very pleasant depth of 14.9 millimeters. On the sides, you will find a USB 3.0 Type-A connector as well as a 3.5mm jack, mini HDMI output and a proprietary port for charging. There is no USB Type-C connector and it would be interesting for many users at least for the power supply.
While the Intel Celeron N4100 processor with four cores in the price range of less than $400, Teclast F7 Plus integrates an Intel Celeron N4100 processor, a chip manufactured in 14nm that includes 4 processors capable of reaching the 2.40 GHz maximum speed and that incorporates an Intel UHD Graphics 600 with 12EU GPU that is capable of playing video up to resolution 4K @ 60fps in h.265 HDR format, With 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal SSD storage, Additional memory is likely to benefit users in multitasking, while SSD storage should be slightly faster than traditional eMMC storage. Other features include a backlit keyboard and a rather spacious touchpad, which is not common in the price range either. The illuminated logo on the back is also an interesting accent.
It has a keyboard in English with backlight that as we see takes full advantage of the entire front area and has a generous space between keys. On the board, we have a WiFi AC adapter and Bluetooth 4.0. We have two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI video output, audio jack, microSD card reader. A 2-megapixel webcam is also presently associated with a microphone for video conferencing.
The power supply is provided by a 6500mAh battery which, according to the manufacturer, can operate the laptop for an average of 8 hours. Obviously, depending on how you use it, it can be more and less, but you can still have a very good value and you can endure a working day wirelessly.
Teclast F7 Plus counts as a notebook with its own distinctive features. The all-metal fuselage, 14-inch high-definition screen, up-to-standard operation ability, and endurance, make it a light office productivity tool, just like the second car in the family, do not need too much strength, as long as it can be used.
