Yesterday, Qualcomm also had introduced the Snapdragon 765 and 765G mobile processor chipsets along with the Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform. The US-based company hosted the ‘Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019’ to reveal its some of the most popular chipset algorithms for flagship and mid-range devices.
Today, Qualcomm has uncovered various capabilities of all the mobile chipsets like SD865, SD765 and SD765G launched in the event. In the case of SD865, it needs an external X55 5G modem to configure 5G networks. But the SD765 and SD765G are integrated with X55 5G modem aiming at the upper-midrange and mid-tier market.

Some of the first devices to install the SD765G are Redmi K30 and Oppo Reno 3 Pro 5G. These smartphone devices are scheduled to enter the market this month. Similarly, Nokia fans will have to wait until the Q1 2020 for its first SD765-empowered phone.
The Snapdragon 765G is based on the 7nm process technology. It will further include one Kryo 475 Prime CPU at 2.4 GHz, one Kryo 475 Gold CPU at 2.2 GHz, and six Kryo 475 Silver CPU at 1.8 GHz.
In case of the Snapdragon 765 SoC, there will be Kryo 475 Prime CPU at 2.3 GHz, whereas the rest of the cores are the same as Snapdragon 765 processor.
If you are vigilant tech-savvy, availability of Cortex-A76 CPU cores on both SD765 and SD765G may disappoint you. On the other hand, the Exynos 980 for mid-range from Samsung comes with Cortex-A77 cores.
In the context of graphics performance, the SD765 and SD765G equip the Adreno GPU chips to record a 38% performance enhancement against Adreno 618 on SD730. Similarly, the Snapdragon 765 delivers 20% better GPU performance than snapdragon 730. Apart from this, the rest of the specs of both SD editions are identical.
