The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Plus touted as Samsung’s first smartphone to feature a MediaTek processor has made an appearance on AnTuTu. This is in addition to its earlier listing on GFXBench back in August where it was revealed to be sporting a MediaTek MT6737T chipset. The AnTuTu data has confirmed that information, as the device is also listed as sporting the same MediaTek SoC.
Furtehrmore, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime Plus is listed as coming with an 8MP rear camera as well as a 5MP front-facing shooter. The device would run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It had earlier been revealed recently that Samsung filed a trademark application for the Galaxy Grand Prime Plus in its home country of South Korea. These could all be an indication that the device’s launch is imminent.
