August 29 is going to record a great day for the Chinese tech manufacturer Xiaomi. The company will host a mega launch event in China to unveil its Redmi Note 8 series alongside Redmi Smart TV as well as upgraded RedmiBook 14. Just a day before the launch, the company has teased another group of specs of the upcoming Redmi Note 8 Pro smartphone. The phone will be launched tomorrow in China with a 64 MP sensor and Helio G90T, whereas the vanilla version will boast a 48 MP sensor along with Snapdragon 665 processor.

As per the table teased by a Twitter user named Xiaomishka, the Redmi Note 8 Pro hosts a 6.53-inch IPS display providing 1080p+ resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Further, an impressive camera setup is there including a 64MP sensor of Samsung’s ISOCELL GW1, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2 megapixels macro and 2 MP depth sensor.
On the front side, the drop notch screen will feature a 20MP selfie camera
On the other hand, the regular version will also get the same hardware specs but 48 MP sensor instead.
For the power, the Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 4500 mAh battery with 18W charging support. Moreover, it also configures the Helio G90T SoC to be the first-ever smartphone with this chipset.
The software department will show the latest Android 9.0 Pie based on MIUI 10. Notably, the Pro model further has two variations – 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB.
The price figures for both of the phones are as below:
The Redmi Note 8 Pro 6GB/64GB will adopt a price tag of Yuan 1800 ($250). And the 8GB/128GB version will cost at Yuan 2,100 ($295).
The Redmi Note 8 4GB/64GB is priced at Yuan 1,200 ($168).
