In case you didn’t know, the Redmi Go is the first smartphone to have Android Go launched by Xiaomi, which has just been released to the Chinese market not a long time ago. Last week, the specifications and an official rendering of this long-awaited device came online, in addition to Xiaomi Philippines also speaking a little bit about the arrival of the device. That being said, more details have appeared on this phone, as well as its availability outside of Asia.
A publication made by Winfuture has revealed that the Redmi Go will soon be available in the European market, and users assume that it will be launched in the month of February. This means that there would not be a big gap between its launch in Asia and in Europe, being great news for users who are in this great continent.
Also, the publication also says that the Redmi Go that will be presented in Europe will have support for band 20 of LTE. This is not new information for users, because the official LTE sheet could see the compatible LTE bands, and band 20 was included in the list.
What will be the launch price of this device in Europe?
With respect to the price, the Redmi Go will be released to the market along with a price lower than $90. This price is significantly lower than it has, for example, the Nokia 2.1, which currently has a price between $126 and $144. Having said that, we must clarify that the Nokia 2.1 has a larger screen, as well as a greater capacity of the front speakers and stereo battery.
Features that can be seen in the Redmi Go
The Redmi Go will come with a 5-inch HD screen, in addition to a Qualcomm 28nm Snapdragon 425 processor, 1GB of RAM memory and 8GB of internal storage. On the other hand, will have an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 5 megapixel front camera, a battery with a capacity of 3,000mAh and will have Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) installed.
Winfuture, in addition to having made public all those details, also commented that this phone will come with several versions, being in the colors blue and black. At the top of this device, an audio connector will be located, while a Micro USB port and loudspeaker grille will be located at the bottom of the device. In addition to that, the Redmi Go will have two slots on its left side: one for the dual SIM cards and one for the MicroSD card. Also, the images show that the device will come with Xiaomi’s lightweight browser, Mint Browser, along with Google Chrome.
