Redmi 8 takes a more contemporary approach when it comes to design. Both adopt an almost identical design and the same size. Redmi 8 has a 6.2 inch IPS LCD screen with HD Plus resolution (720 x 1520 pixels) with bangs with a waterdrop design and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The screen is equipped with a protective layer of Gorilla Glass 5 and the rear body is equipped with P2i nano-coating technology, which protects the device from splashing water.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 439. The Octa-Core is new and offers enough power for a budget phone thanks to the 1.95 GHz clock frequency. Redmi 8A has 3GB RAM or 4GB RAM paired with 32GB or 64GB internal memory.
Furthermore, the phone will feature dual-camera set up on the back. It will have a 12MP main and 2MP depth sensor. Moreover, the phone will have an 8MP selfie camera. The phone will have a massive 5,000mAh battery. There’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, it will run MIUI 9.7.11 on top of Android 9 Pie out of the box. Redmi also breaks away from the outdated micro-USB port in the low-budget series and installs a USB type C port! But you apparently have to do without a 3.5 mm jack connector.
