As per a dedicated microsite of Flipkart, Realme is ready to launch its next quad-camera Smartphone in India on 20th August 2019. Earlier, the company revealed that its 64MP camera sensor phone will install a Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor. And the phone will come in India before Diwali, which is on 27 October.
The head of Realme India, Madhav Seth confirmed the 48 MP sensor phone through a clever math puzzle on his Twitter handle. He wrote 4+48+586+119 to reveal that 4 cameras will include 48 MP SONY IMX586 as a main sensor. Along with it the Realme 5 will come up with an ultra-wide camera with 119-degree FOV.
The launch event will be organised in New Delhi, India at around 12:30 PM. Further, the microsite also reveals that the upcoming Realme 5 Smartphone will host a primary sensor with large aperture and large pixel size. The site has also shared a video to describe the quad-camera setup alongside an LED flashlight.

Earlier, the company announced its 64MP camera phone to be launched in India before Diwali. It will come with the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 image sensor. The Samsung and Xiaomi are also set to deploy on their 64 MP smartphones.
The Realme phone with this sensor could be known as the Realme X Pro. During the demonstration of 64 MP phone in New Delhi last week, the company also announced that it would bring two additional quad-cam smartphones.
So, the upcoming 48 MP sensor phone is being speculated as to the Realme 5 series phone to be launched on 20 August. It is just 8 days to go the users can place orders for the phone. We will come back as we get any update from the company side.
