The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro is the advanced version of the Redmi 8. The smartphone is blessed with a beautiful body that offers an amazing camera set-up and a massive non-removable battery. The top features are the 64MP rear camera and it also comes with an ample RAM and a waterdrop notch.
On the body, the Redmi Note 8 Pro packs a modern body that is built with the combination of aluminum alloy and glass. The device is blessed with a premium body with a smooth panel that houses the camera, an LED flash, and a fingerprint scanner. It measures 161.3 x 76.4 x 8.8 mm in dimensions and weight 199 grams. The waterdrop notch on the front offers a large screen display size of 6.53 inches with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 395 PPI density. It’s equipped with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, display protection and it has an 84.9% screen-to-body ratio. Just as mentioned above, this phone top selling point is the camera set-up. The Redmi Note 8 Pro comes with a four rear camera that consists of 64 MP with 8 MP ultrawide sensor, an additional 2 MP dedicated macro camera, and lastly is 2 MP depth sensor. Upfront is a selfies snapper of 20 MP with HDR and it also has support for 1080p@30fps video resolution. The main camera, however, features Dual-LED flash, HDR, panorama and it’s capable of shooting 2160p@30fps, 1080p@30/60/120fps, (gyro-EIS) video quality.
Behind the wheel is a Mediatek Helio G90T SOC built by 12nm process technology with an octa-core processor and Mali-G76MC4 GPU for graphics and gaming. Powering the handset is an Android 9.0 Pie operating system with MIUI 10 user interface on top for gaming and graphics. On the memory, the Note 8 Pro has an internal storage of 64GB and 128GB with an ample RAM of 6GB, you will also get a bigger model with 8GB RAM and 128GB. The memory is expandable via a micro SD card up to 256GB. The sensors on the phone are Fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.
