Compatible with the XIAOMI IMILAB A1 home application, the Xiaomi ecosystem has a new surveillance camera. This is an internal model that, as mentioned in the title, also integrates the baby monitor function. One advantage of this model is that it provides free, unlimited cloud storage. This means it can use without a microSD card. If you still want the videos to be “private,” you can store them locally on a microSD card (support up to 256 GB) or NAS.

It is equipped with an infrared LED of 40 940 nm for good quality night shooting, which provides visibility up to 10 meters. The photosensor can shoot at 3 megapixels, full HD resolution, and rotate up to 360 degrees automatically from the app. The viewing angle of the lens is 110 degrees.

It’s not a full-fledged baby monitor, but it knows how to detect when a baby cries and automatically saves the video, and sends a notification on the phone. Since it is a rotating camera, it can set to follow any object that appears in the plan or is only transmitted when it detects human movement.

Like many other rooms, the Xiaomi IMILB A1 is equipped with both a microphone and speakers, thus providing the possibility to hear sound in the vicinity of where it is installed or communicate with people in the room.
