The A95X F4 is a new TV box powered by the new Amlogic S905X4 processor and running Android 11. The new S905X4 processor primarily means support for decoding the AV1 codec , which is now mandatory for popular streaming services.
The AMlogic S905X4 SoC is a 12nm quad -core processor with ARM Cortex-A55 cores that reach speeds of 2 GHz and a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU . It is an advanced chipset with support for the AV1 video codec, which is able to increase bandwidth by 20% or more than HEVC, and also save 30% more traffic compared to H.265 and VP9.
There are several versions on sale for A95X F4 with 2/4 GB DDR3 RAM and 16/32/64/128 GB eMMc memory. The wireless capabilities of the set-top box include excellent dual-band Wi-Fi MIMO (2 × 2) and Bluetooth 4. On the case there are connectors: USB 2.0 port, another USB 3.0, 2.5 mm audio jack, SPDIF digital audio output, Ethernet 100M and HDMI 2.1 video output. The set-top box also features a front-panel digital display and interactive RGB lighting on the top of the case.
