OUKITEL announced the first smartphone of their new Young series dubbed Y4800 in May, this Y4800 features a Samsung 48MP AI camera, MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core Soc, and Young OS based on Android 9 Pie. OUKITEL Y4800 is starting its Global First presale from July 22nd to July 29th at a discounted price from the retail price of $249.99. As the most remarkable feature of the smartphone is the 48MP camera, here OUKITEL Lab is showing some sample photos taken by the Y4800.
The OUKITEL Y4800 packs a Samsung GM1 48MP sensor with F/1.8 aperture for the main rear camera. This is 4 times higher than the mainstream 12MP sensors. Under the 48MP mode, the single pixel is 0.8µm which allows you to take wonderful photos with better resolution. The sensor size of this GM1 48MP camera reaches to 1/2 inch, 56% larger than normal 1/2.8inch sensors. With larger size on the sensor, it receives more light for the photo taken.
With a 48MP sensor, even if you enlarge the photos, it catches the details clearly. The front camera also adopts a Samsung sensor with 16 Mega Pixels and features F/2.0 Aperture. This will offer better selfies than 13MP cameras.

OUKITEL Y4800 takes comparatively good photos with the rear camera. No matter the exposure, white balance, or sharpness, Y4800 handles quite good. The color is improved to be brighter to a certain degree, and due to the 1/2 inch large sensor size, the dynamic range is excellent.
OUKITEL Y4800 complies with latest popular design with 6.3-inch FHD+ waterdrop display, carrying MediaTek Helio P70 Soc and 6GB +128GB storage, 4000mAH big battery, together with Young OS which is based on Android 9.0 Pie to offer fluent and smooth experience. It is starting presale from July 22 to July 29th at a discounted price of $199.99 out of the retail price of $249.99.
