OnePlus may Launch its First Smart TV in September this Year

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, OnePlus is gearing up to enhance its product portfolio in the market. The company started with flagship Smartphones to manufacture just one a year. And then slowly entered into the business of wireless headphones, power banks, and backpacks etc.

During the last few years, it has started to launch two flagship Smartphones in a year. Now, we have come across the news that OnePlus is all set to announce its brand-new smart TVs.

As per the new reports, the OnePlus TV has got Bluetooth SIG certification last week and could be announced anytime between 25 to 30 September this year.

A year will be completed by next month when the company announced in September 2018 that it would bring its smart Tv series next year to provide more connected experience to its fan-base. TVs will focus on integrating it with smartphones and other smart home devices.

The company official Ishan Aggarwal confirmed on his Twitter account that OnePlus plans to announce its new TV series between 25-30 September, maybe on September 26.


But we have no official confirmation about the real launch date yet. If it is really a 26 September, then we are just a few days away from getting more information about the TV.

As the MySmartPrice reports that it is possible that one of the TV models will install the OLED panel. Similarly, the Bluetooth certification revealed at least 4 models – 43-inch, 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch. The report further adds that OnePlus TVs are likely to come in India, China and the USA.

The OnePlus TV is to run on the Android OS with some better connectivity options. Moreover, these can host Alexa Voice Control, Google Assistant, 4K HDR, or maybe a pop-up camera.
