In 2018, we got the new phone from Asus named as Asus Rog Phone with 90Hz display. And in the starting of this year, the new Oneplus 7 Pro was launched and now the 90Hz screen is popular in many new smartphones.
And with this trend, the Samsung is also now coming with the 90Hz display in their Samsung Galaxy S11, the flagship smartphone. We have the rumors, that the OnePlus is now to come a step ahead of all this. OnePlus is moving step forward for its next flagship smartphone.
Features of OnePlus 8 Pro:
OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to launch next year and is expected to feature the 120Hz super smooth display. And the OnePlus 8 Pro will not be the first smartphone to come with this screen. We also have the Asus Rog Phone 2 which features the 120Hz display.
We too have some rumors from Apple, and the company is also launching the new smartphone next year with same 120Hz display. This display will be called “ProMotion OLED” display. You also must know that this “ProMotion” display was launched two years ago by Apple.
Not only the 120Hz display, the OnePlus 8 Pro is also expected to come with quad-camera setup on the back which will include an ultra-wide-angle shooter, a telephoto camera that will likely support 3x optical zoom, and a primary camera of an unknown resolution. The primary sensor could be of 64MP or 108MP.
The smartphone could be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 865 flagship chipset, coupled with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The renders of the phone have already surfaced online, giving us an early look at how the smartphone could look like with a punch-hole display.
The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro smartphones are reportedly set to go official in the second quarter of next year, i.e. Q2 2020. We expect to get more details about these devices through leaks as the launch nears.
