8GB RAM Confirmed – OnePlus 5 High Version Leaked on GFXBench!

OnePlus 5 has been making the news lately and everybody seems to be interested in this flagship killer which is coming out on June 21. The anticipation gets stronger and other top brands are keeping a tab with OnePlus for their flagship device. OnePlus 5 has been taken seriously because it sports the best chip that the world currently has to offer – Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. OnePlus 5 has the opportunity to surpass its rivals because OnePlus only produce a device or two per annum thus it devotes a lot of energy and time on its products.

Too much information about OnePlus 5 has somehow been made public. Its features, appearance, release date, price, camera quality and even sample images have all been speculated. Some of this information comes from top officials in the OnePlus ranks while others are mere speculations.

Rumors strongly suggest that the OnePlus 5 flagship will be equipped with 8GB of memory but this neither came from a reliable source nor was it confirmed.  Fresh news has confirmed this to be true. A model of OnePlus 5 (A5000) performance was spotted on GFXBench and if all goes according to plan, this is definitely for the flagship device. Information on the camera quality was not found on GFXBench, this is probably because there has been so much exposure of the renderings showing that the device will sport a 16MP dual rear camera. Rumors suggest that this flagship will sport amazing features that will make it a real rival to other high-end devices. It is believed that this device will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 high-end chip clocked at 2.35GHz, 5.5-inch full HD screen, Adreno 540 GPU, 8GB of RAM, Android 7.1.1 out-of-the-box, under screen home button, fingerprint identification, a huge 4000mAh battery and much more.

The confirmation of 8GB memory in OnePlus 5 follows that of Nubia Z17 after a domestic 8GB memory smartphone which created a new record by selling all 10,000 first bunch in a record 51 seconds. We have to keep our fingers crossed to observe if OnePlus 5 will surpass this.

I have been a strong follower of Android devices since the release of Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Right now, Chinese tech completely fascinates me because they are probably the only manufacturers who tries to merge budget and specs.
