OnePlus 5’s Headphone Jack? No, It isn’t Going Anywhere

Ok, so you might have seen a lot of renders as well as the hands on Images and Prototypes of the upcoming OnePlus 5.One thing that you might have noticed in all the images is that there was no headphone jack on the bottom as on all the previous OnePlus devices. So, sources suggested that OnePlus is going to ditch the 3.5mm port on its upcoming flagship. But, if you are in favor of a 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone, then it’s good news for you that the CEO of OnePlus i.e., Carl Pei has officially confirmed via his Twitter handle that the 3.5mm headphone jack isn’t going anywhere.

So, what is going to happen is that just the position of the headphone jack has been changed from bottom to the top. That’s why we saw no 3.5mm port on the bottom side of all the leaked hands-on images.

There is no denying the fact that the OnePlus 5 is surely one of the most awaited smartphones of this year and it is indeed coming with Killer specifications like the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6 or maybe 8GB of RAM, dual rear cameras and more.
