The Windows-powered tablets have a hard time trying to keep their place under the sun. It’s conditioned by the fact that most of their roles are fully capable to be taken over by smartphones sporting larger screens. However, there is a huge number of customers that prefer tablets instead of common smartphones. If a tablet comes with a detachable keyboard, it becomes unreplaceable. The Onda OBook 10 Pro is among them. At this moment, this amazing device is offered at a discounted price tag. So we decided to recall its key features once again.

Generally, the Onda OBook 10 Pro is considered as the cheap variant of the Microsoft Surface 3. There are too many similarities. But everything should be tested in real. If it is capable of providing an acceptable performance, then it should be taken as the best offer for those who want a Surface-like device at a lower price.
The Onda oBook 10 Pro is equipped with an X7-8700 quad-core Atom processor clocked at 1.6GHz (turbo boost of 2.4GHz). The chip is also paired with a 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 64GB of eMMC space, and a 6000mAh battery. This SoC is one of the most practical ultra-low power chips for Windows out there. It doesn’t mean the Atom X5, which can be found on tons of tablets, doesn’t perform well. Looking at the benchmark results, we can state the Atom X7 8700 perform is more attractive and doesn’t have anything common with its predecessor. Say, in Unigine Heaven Benchmark, it scores 63 points that are 20 points more than the Atom Z3735F’s score.
Apart from this, the Onda OBook 10 Pro comes with a 10.1-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. The tablet also sports Bluetooth, dual-band WiFi, USB 3.0 interface, and runs on Windows 10. As we said, there are special connectors to dock a keyboard and turn it into a full-featured laptop. But as you guess, the keyboard is sold separately.
