Xiaomi Mi Notebook Ruby With Full-Sized Keyboard at $819.99

A new laptop of Xiaomi was launched on August 23. No one has been expecting the manufacturer will make this move because, before that, it had already managed to launch a few laptops with the latest 8th-gen Intel chip. But if they updated the Notebook Pro and Gaming Laptop lines, this is a new series, the selling point of which is the full-sized keyboard with a numerical part. Fortunately, the new Xiaomi Mi Notebook is already available for purchase at price tags of $819.99.

The new Xiaomi Mi Notebook sports a 15.6-inch anti-glare screen with a Full HD resolution, a wide viewing angle of 178°, and a body thickness of 19.9mm. There are two color options of deep gray and white.

What’s more interesting and important, the new Xiaomi Mi Notebook is packed with the 8th generation Intel Core i5/i7 processor, which provides a 40% better performance than the previous generation chip. At the same time, the chip is paired with the NVIDIA GeForce MX110 graphics card (2GB), 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD. The i5 model has two variants packed with 4GB and 8GB DDR4 2400MHz RAMs. By the way, it’s expandable up to 32GB via a dual memory card slot. The i7 version comes with an 8GB of memory only.

As for interfaces, it comes with a 3 in 1 card reader, USB 2.0 port, Gigabit Ethernet port, HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, and headset jack. So you won’t need various adapters.


The new Xiaomi Mi Notebook features a built-in dual 3W speakers, supporting Dolby Audio virtual surround sound technology. As we said, the notebook has a full-featured keyboard with a separate numeric keypad, 1.5mm keystrokes, a calculator, scroll lock button, and a special button to open the browser for the office environment.

The new Xiaomi Mi Notebook adopts a double fan and double air outlet design. There is a 2+2 heat pipe layout, which is conducive to timely dissipating the heat of the processor and the graphics card to ensure the stable operation of the notebook.

The new laptop is great in terms of software as well. There is a built-in Xiaomi synchronization assistant. It can synchronously manage contacts, text messages, photos, notes and other data in mobile devices. Of course, it comes with pre-installed genuine Office.
