It turns out the Huawei Honor 9 will be packed with a dual-camera like its predecessor and Huawei Mate 9. The rear shooter sports a 12MP black and white sensor accompanied with a 22MP color sensor. But it has no Leica support like the Mate 9 and P10. The lens are set horizontally. So we can write down it’s a new trend in this industry.

The rest of features include a 5.2-inch Full HD screen, Kirin 960 chip paired with a 6GB of RAM, UFS 2.0 storage, a battery at unknown capacity. But it should support a 5VDC / 2A or 9VDC / 2A fast charge technology.

The Huawei Honor 9 is rumored to come at a price tag of 2499 yuan ($362). Thus it is going to compete with the recently launched Xiaomi Mi 6. This is quite reasonable, as the Honor 9 has many similiarities to Xiaomi’s current flagship. Both of them come with a metal frame and 3D glass housing, fingerprint scanner located under the home button, rear camera looking identically and so on. So Xiaomi has to accelerate production of the Mi 6 not to lose customers due to capacity problems once the Huawei Honor 9 is launched.
