NBTC Certifies 3 Xiaomi Smartphones: Mi 9 Lite, Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A

The Chinese tech giant Xiaomi was preparing for its next flagship handset Mi 9 Pro 5G and news has appeared about other prominent innovation from the same brand.

Trustworthy personnel from XDA-Developers have identified three Xiaomi smartphones certified by the Thai NBTC Regulation Authority.

The 3 smartphones Mi 9 Lite, Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A were noticed in the database of the authority and passed the certification under different code numbers. The code numbers for the 3 are M1904F3BG, M1908C3KG, and M1908C3IG respectively.

Furthermore, the certification didn’t mention any further information regarding the specifications of the devices. But thanks to the previous leaks, which have already provided the spec-sheet.

As per the leaks, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite will serve as the global version of the Xiaomi CC9. Further, the handset will install Snapdragon 710 SoC, 6 GB of RAM, Full HD+ AMOLED display, a 48 MP main sensor, and a 4030 mAh battery with Fast Charging support.

Similarly, the Redmi 8 and Redmi 8A are the successors of the Redmi 7 and Redmi 7A respectively. The standard edition will host an FHD+ resolution display, 2/3/4GB of RAM and 16/32/64GB of ROM and a dual-cam setup. The processor is unknown but expected to support 2GHz clock frequency.

As per the previous leaks, all these 3 devices will debut at the end of September or early October. They will be presented at various functions, but we have no info on Redmi 8 Pro yet. But we can expect the smartphones to arrive for the global market this time.

To recall, Xiaomi has also revealed the world’s first fast wireless charging technique up to the 30W power. Now, we can wait until the official announcements from the company.
