  1. why do you keep calling it “Google Certified Android TV Box” while it’s not mentiond anywhere including Mecool website, gearbest website and all other merchants in the http://WWW...
in fact i contact Gearbest and they said it’s not Android TV OS but standard android version and it will not run Netflix in 4K
from where did you get your info?

    1. Good day @Galm.
It’s so unfortunate that the source I got “Google Certified Android TV Box” from, has taken it down. I believe they did that because of the previous generation “MECOOL KM8”.
Concerning Android TV OS and Netflix, got that from Gearbest, and from all indication, it supports Netflix. thanks

      1. Supports Netflix? But it does not support 4K? Without hacking something it wouldn’t support even HD

          1. In what article?

It does not support genuine 4K Netflix as confirmed by Geekbuying sales representatives. It does not have a valid ESSN.

Even Gearbest sales representatives says that it does NOT suppport 4K Netflix.

If you have proof that Mecool has come to an agreement with Netflix, please do share it with us. If not I hope you will take your job more seriously. The previous version did not support 4K Netflix, and we know that almost every China Android TV Box lacks the support. That calls for precaution.

If you don’t know something for sure then don’t say it. Stating things that are untrue greatly diminishes the credibility of this site. That is sad.
