At the end of March, Lenovo launched a few products showing its ambitions for 2018. Along with the S5, K5, and K5 Play, the company unveiled the Lenovo Watch 9. It’s a hybrid smartwatch with a mechanical watch face, a circular dial covered by sapphire mirror glass, a silicone strap, and a stainless steel shell providing waterproofing at up to 50 meters. We’ll manage to talk about its key features, but at this moment, this smartwatch is available at a price tag of $19.99.

Lenovo Watch 9 Hybrid Smartwatch
The Lenovo Watch 9 isn’t a standalone smartwatch. But it’s a hybrid device, which simply means despite being an analog watch ergonomically, it comes with a large number of smartwatch features. At the first glance, it may seem we are dealing with a modern day timepiece. There is an elegant dial available in either a black or a white finish. They are matched with straps coming with the same colors. As we said, the dial is covered 9H hardness rated premium sapphire glass.
That’s not difficult to guess the Lenovo Watch 9 doesn’t sport an OLED display like other smartwatches. But it doesn’t prevent the smartwatch from being paired with any smartphone running on Android or iOS. Once it’s done, users can interact with it using a dedicated app. Moreover, there are all features you can find on a regular fitness tracker. Say, it can track myriads of information including steps, calories burnt, sleep duration, and distance covered. It vibrates for alarms or when the user receives any notifications. This smartwatch can also be used to remotely capture selfies by shaking it.
Under the hood, it carries a battery that provides up to 12 months of battery life on a single charge.
