LeEco Le Pro 3: Gone In 15 Seconds!

The LeEco Le Pro 3 is quite a piece of work, and it managed to sell out in a matter of 15 seconds after being put on sale earlier this morning. Despite having an initial batch of 500,000 units, the 24 hour pre-order period saw it rack up a whopping 3.57 million pre-orders.

LeEco Le Pro 3: 1,799 yuan price point is welcomed

LeEco Le Pro 3Our comprehensive review of the LeEco Le Pro 3 is certainly worth reading, as this is one of the more affordable flagship smartphones out there in the market at the moment. Prior to its announcement, we have also seen the device’s performance benchmarks leaked to get a better idea on what the Le Pro 3 brings to the table. If you are interested to see what lies underneath the hood, there is also a teardown session that depicts the innards which make the Le Pro 3 tick.

The LeEco Le Pro 3 does not come up short in terms of hardware. We are looking at a Snapdragon 821 processor with up to 64GB of internal memory, accompanied by a 5.5-inch Full HD display, an 8MP front-facing shooter for selfie lovers and a 16MP camera at the back. The camera is touted to be extremely fast — taking all of just 0.1 seconds to focus, ensuring that you can capture just about any situation instantly without having to miss a moment. Dual SIM card slots are also part of the Le Pro 3, allowing you to separate your personal and work life on a single handset. You might want to consider apps like Disa however, if you would want to have two WhatsApp accounts on a single handset.

Forget about seeing Android 7.0 Nougat arrive right out of the box with the Le Pro 3, as it will feature Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow instead. There is no word on whether Android 7.0 Nougat will enter the picture in the future, and if so, when.

All of the hardware has been crammed into a chassis that measures a mere 7.5mm of thickness, and it has a 4,070mAh battery to power it. Fast charging is also supported, where just 5 minutes of charging should be able to provide you with up to 3 hours of standby time. Following the footsteps of its predecessor, there is no 3.5mm headphone jack here, although a converter is included in the packaging.

There are two variants of the LeEco Le Pro 3 to choose from: 4GB of RAM + 32GB memory for 1,799 yuan, while the other model would be 6GB of RAM + 1,999 yuan.
