Those who don’t mind to acquire a China-made product, are very attentive what new models are unleashed by the second-tier manufacturers. Say, Jumper is very popular in the tablets and laptops markets. We have managed to review tons of its products and we know this manufacturer could achieve an acceptable level of quality. Now its laptops don’t look like cheap and useless products. They are competitive now. This is also true for the newly announced Jumper EZBook X1. But do not think it’s the regular EZBook series laptop. It’s a 2-in-1 convertible laptop with an attractive features list and an affordable price tag of $259.99.

The first thing, however, we should pay attention to is the CPU. The Jumper EZBook X1 is packed with an Intel Celeron N4100, which is a step back of the Pentium Silver. But it uses the Gemini Lake architecture that has managed to prove its stable and smooth performance. As a reminder, great models in face of the Teclast F5, Chuwi GBox, Alldocube Knote 5, and others are packed with this SoC. Apart from this, the chip is paired with a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The Gemini Lake processors offer a modest boost in CPU and graphics performance over their Apollo Lake predecessors. Plus, there are a few new features including support for ‘Local Adaptive Contrast Enhancement’ technology. As you know, it is designed to balance display brightness and battery life so that you can see a laptop display easily outside.
In terms of appearance, the Jumper EZBook X1 sports an 11.6-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen. It’s fully convertible. Thus, you can use it as a tablet whenever you want. It will be a bit heavier and bulkier. But you will adapt soon. The thickness of the laptop is 13.5mm, while it weighs about 1kg. Heavy? It’s because the chassis is made out of metal. The notebook also appears to have slim top and side bezels, and the webcam is below the screen. The keyboard is black, while the touchpad is silver.
