One of the best products of Jumper is the EZBook 3 Pro. It is considered to be among the best alternative to the MacBook Air. That’s why it was capable of defending its place among beasts such as the Chuwi LapBook and T-Bao Tbook Air. But many want to acquire an ultrabook with a larger screen. In this sense, the original EZBook 3 Pro doesn’t meet requirements of many customers. That’s why the manufacturer decided to come in with a 14.1-inch variant of that laptop. The Jumper EZBook 3L Pro sports the same features as its founding father, but instead of a 13.3-inch screen, it is packed with a larger screen. The ‘L’ stands for ‘Large’, we guess. As for now, we are going to learn everything on this amazing notebook, which is also considered as a Jumper’s model of the T-bao Tbook 4.

Jumper EZBook 3L Pro Appearance
We used to see the minimum accessories included in the package of a Jumper product. This one is no exception. The Jumper EZBook 3L Pro comes with an AC adapter, a user manual, an inspection certificate, and the laptop itself. At last, the wall charger weighs 112 grams and comes with a length of 145cm.
The housing is made of an aluminum alloy. It passes through a diamond cutting process. So it is capable of providing an excellent touch and visual feelings. But we have been waiting for such an appearance as the 3rd –gen EZBook laptops came with a metal body and a good texture. Of course, they can’t compete with the flagships laptops such as the Xiaomi Mi Air, but they are way better than many cheap plastic-body ultrabooks offered for a song.
Usually, manufacturers do not mention whether their laptops come with an IPS or TN display. Moreover, some of them say it’s IPS, but when reviewing, we see it’s TN. The Jumper EZBook 3L Pro comes with a TN display, undoubtedly. The truth is IPS monitors have two main advantages over TN. First, they provide better viewing angles. Second, they present better color reproduction because they can manage the light that passes through. But TN displays have a faster response time than IPS. However, manufacturers use TN display for a few reasons. Say, it’s easier to produce. That’s why they cost less. Another option, TN displays are good for gaming. So we can conclude, the 14.1-inch TN display of the Jumper EZBook 3L Pro is quite satisfactory if taking into account its advantages and price. Plus, it provides a Full HD resolution.
As we are dealing with a large-size laptop, it’s been expected to see a good keyboard with an acceptable key pitch. They are placed at a good distance. So the typing won’t make you get tired quickly. The keystrokes are slightly shallow, but it is not a problem when it comes to the practice. The only thing we don’t like these keyboards is the Power key layout. But those who have been using Chinese laptops for a long time shouldn’t have problems with shutting down it accidentally.
The Jumper EZBook 3L Pro is considered as an ultrabook. So no need to wait for many interfaces located on the sides. But it comes with an acceptable amount of ports. There are a microphone hole, a micro HDMI and USB 3.0 ports on the left side.
A micro SD card slot, a USB 3.0, an audio jack, and a DC-IN port are placed on the right.
The front view showcases the actual thickness of the product. As you can see, there is a clue helping to open the laptop easier.
The back has no ports. But there are two speakers.
On the back, we have an M.2 slot that can be opened once the only screw is removed. This allows us to expand the memory quickly.
At last, the maximum opening angle is 135 degrees.
Jumper EZBook 3L Pro Hardware and Performance
Well, the manufacturer didn’t change anything concerning the hardware. The Jumper EZBook 3L Pro is packed with an Intel Celeron N3450 chip. The latter is a quad-core SoC primarily for inexpensive notebooks. It can reach up to 2.2GHz frequency, though it’s clocked at 1.1GHz regularly. This SoC is based on the Apollo Lake platform and runs on a 14nm process node with FinFETs. There is also a DirectX 12 capable Gen9 GPU that provides 4K video output. This card is equipped with 12 EUs and clocks up to 700MHz. So the performance should be roughly on par with the older HD Graphics. Plus, this chip comes with an advanced video engine, which supports VP9 playback as well as H.265 material (8-bit color-depth).
The 6GB of RAM has become common for many Chinese ultrabooks from this price range. So it’s quite pleasant to see it on the Jumper EZBook 3L Pro. Plus, it’s paired with a 64GB eMMC flash storage. But as we said, it can be expanded through the TF and M.2 slots.
The laptop runs on Windows 10.
Thanks to all these features it scores 1774 points at Dragon Quest X Benchmark. To understand whether it’s good or bad, we have to say the Jumper EZBook 3L Pro provides a better performance than the YEPO 737S (1631 points), but it yields the laptops such as the Chuwi LapBook 14.1 (1835 points) and Onda Xiaoma 41 (1842).
At last, the Jumper EZBook 3L Pro sports a 9600mAh battery that is capable of providing up to 5 hours of normal use. Of course, it supports dual-band WiFi.
- Ultra-thin Body
- Large FHD Display With a High Response Time
- Metal Body
- A Couple of USB 3.0 Ports For a Faster Data Transfer
- M.2 Expansion Ability
- 6GB RAM and Memory Expansion Options
- Mid-class Keyboard
- Well-known But Not Astonishing SoC
As we see, the Jumper EZBook 3L Pro continues the traditions of other Chinese manufacturers that offer an ultrabook at around $300 with a decent specs list. Some of them sport a 13.3-inch display, while the rest come in with a larger screen. This manufacturer decided not to touch the rest of features on its well-known model and enlarged the display size only. Plus, it added the ‘L’ to the name and filled the gap of a 14.1-inch laptop. In this sense, the EZBook 3L Pro has been designed who like the laptops such as the original 3 Pro but want a larger screen.
