There are only a few days left for Apple to unveil both its iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus to the whole world, and the date for when that is going to take place is September 9th.
According to the source, both iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be available to purchase in white and metallic grey, showing that we might get to see a new color from the company. This is because the color of the plastic surrounding the lightning port and the small plastic present on the left side of the microphone is white in one picture, while the other picture shows that it is metallic grey.
We already know that both iPhone models are going to be running the company’s own developed chipset called A9. A9 has been manufactured under the 14 and 16nm FinFET process, which belongs to Samsung and TSMC respectively. We expect that on September 9th, both iPhones are going to have smaller battery capacities as compared to their predecessors, but thanks to the energy efficient chip, users will probably be able to get more battery life out of them.
Apart from the A9 chipset, we will also get to see 2GB of LPDDR4 RAM present in both smartphones, which will provide even more performance when your primary objective is to multitask and play graphically intensive mobile gaming applications. There is even a 12MP rear camera sensor present on both smartphones that will be able to record 4K videos easily.
While we do not know what improvements will be present in iOS 9, we are confident that it will increase the performance of both devices since they will be running iOS 9 as soon as they are available to purchase in the market. More details will be given by us after the conclusion of Apple’s event.
