Huawei Mate S is going to be the company’s upcoming smartphone and according to the specification details that we have come across, the device is looking quite impressive indeed. Underneath the body of the smartphone is Kirin 935, a chipset that has been developed by Huawei itself. Kirin 935 is running an octa-core processor that is divided in to two quad-core processors. Their details have been presented below:
Cortex-A53 at 2.2GHz
- Quad-core Cortex-A53 at 1.5GHz
According to a Chinese source, the chipset is not running any Cortex-A57 cores because Huawei has not permitted to do so. The company has stated that Cortex-A57 are not battery friendly, whereas Cortex-A53 are able to provide a balance of both performance and efficiency. Coming to the remaining hardware, 3GB of RAM is going to be present inside Huawei Mate S, along with 64GB of internal memory. The great thing about the upcoming handset is that it also features a microSD card slot opening for users to upgrade their storage up to a maximum capacity of 128GB.
Moving on, Huawei Mate S also supports two-SIMs, and for added security, it has a fingerprint reader present at the bottom center of the smartphone. The device itself is quite large because it has a 5.5 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Possibility the most disappointing thing about Huawei Mate S is that despite featuring all of this impressive hardware, the company did not place in a larger battery capacity.
The upcoming smartphone only has a 2,700mAh battery, which will provide you with battery timing that will last you for a whole day, assuming you use it within limits. Pricing details of Huawei Mate S were not detailed by the source, but we are hoping to find out about these intricate bits soon enough.
The device also sports a 13MP rear camera sensor coupled with an 8MP front sensor as well.
