Huawei just released the Huawei Mate 8 at the Shanghai event along with the Huawei Watch. The 64-GB champagne model was immediately available for purchase for 2999 Yuan (Approx $450 USD). In this post let’s take a look at what comes in the box.
Compared to the previous generations, the Huawei Mate 8 continues to implement the all-metal body, a very eye-pleasing screen to body ratio and a lot of other good things that makes Huawei stand out. The Mate 8 has a touch-sensitive backing which operates completely independent of the front display, and the champhered edges for all the corners and cuts just shows Huawei’s attention to very fine details.
The Huawei Mate 8 uses the standard OGS solution which in turn makes the bezels very small, at just 0.4-mm, it feels like there is almost no bezel at all. The very balanced weight distribution around the phone makes this 6-inch phablet very comfortable to handle.
When it comes to the color department, the Huawei Mate 8 comes in Champagne Gold, Solver Moonlight, Sky Gray, and also comes in the new Mocha Gold color, however it sould be noted that only the Gold variant sports 4-GB of RAM.
