There are a few models, including the Lava Black version (with black/red silicone straps), Moonlight Silver version (with gravel brown leather straps), and deep sea blue version (not released yet). As you guess, we are looking at the former version.
The Honor Watch is only 9.8mm thick. Besides its ultimate slim design, there is also a 1.2-inch round AMOLED touchscreen with a 390 *390 retina-level resolution. The 316L cold forged stainless steel body surrounds the wrist and is hand polished and brushed. The back shell uses a high-strength nylon + fiber plastic material, which is a bio-based environmentally friendly material extracted from castor seeds. The watch measures 42.8 × 42.8 × 9.8mm, weighs about 32.5 grams, and is rated water resistant up to 5ATM.
The lava black-red silicone strap is made of silicone that combines flexibility and comfort with special treatments such as unique, smooth finishes and UV protection. Besides the black and red double-layer color overlay, the surface is carved with texture, enriching the visual light and shadow effect.
The Honor Watch adopts an intelligent power-saving algorithm and dual-chip architecture. While taking into account the reduction of power consumption, the battery life can last up to 1 week under typical usage scenarios. Even for GPS sports scenes, you can use up to 10 hours. Officially announced, it is powered by a 178mAh battery with a claim of up to 7 days, the Honor watch magic should work with any android phone running Android 4.4 and above, as well as all ios devices running iOS 9 or above.
In addition, the Honor Watch features TruSeenTM 3.0 heart rate monitoring. Much like the Huawei watch GT, the Honor watch magic can monitor your heart rate continuously for 24 hours, supports sleep detection via their Trusleep 2.0 feature and has swim detection. It can monitor your pressure in real-time and provide you with breath training when exercising. It tracks climbing, running, open water swimming, cycling, etc. As said above, this watch features a three-satellite positioning system (GPS, GLONASS, and Beidou). By the way, at present, there are four major positioning systems: Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS, and GPS. It has a barometer, compass, and NFC.
The Honor Watch runs on Huawei’s own Lite OS and is powered by the ARM M4 chipset coupled with 16MB of RAM and 128MB of storage.
